According to Tashiev, the information about the initiation of a case and his arrest is unfounded. He also commented on the recent public interest in his income and property declaration for 2024, which states an amount of 12 billion 637 million soms.
The deputy explained that this amount does not reflect his actual wealth but is presented as an asset in the reporting.
Shayyrbek Tashiev also confirmed that he had met with Kamchybek Tashiev, the former chairman of the GKNB, emphasizing that their relationship remains strong.
“I met with Kamchybek Tashiev. We are brothers, and we have a good relationship. After the loss of our parents, he became a support for our family. His health has improved somewhat after treatment, but full recovery takes time. As for the president's decisions, all public servants and citizens are obliged to follow them. This is the decision of the head of state, and we have no right to evaluate it. In our family, it did not cause any resonance,” Tashiev noted.
