
The President emphasized the importance of developing mutually beneficial relations with Airbus Europe, which was reflected in the agreement signed today.
Additionally, Kyrgyzstan is currently completing the process of removal from the EU's black list regarding aviation safety. Japarov noted that the final audit is scheduled for this month and urged company representatives to consider providing assistance in this matter.

Johan Pelissier noted the positive achievements of Kyrgyzstan in aviation, highlighting significant steps in modernization and enhancing safety standards. He also expressed a desire for long-term cooperation not only in commercial aviation but also in other areas such as transportation and logistics.

“We are pleased to learn that Kyrgyzstan is in the final stages of the audit by the European Union and are ready to provide the necessary support in this process,” he noted.
Maurice Prendergast added that the new aircraft being acquired by Kyrgyzstan fully comply with international standards and reported that company specialists will arrive to train Kyrgyz colleagues on the operational systems and technical aspects of the new aircraft.
