Kyrgyz officials were shown how cars are built in Shandong province, China

On March 1, a meeting took place in Jinan between Edil Baisalov and Lin Wu, the secretary of the Communist Party of China in Shandong province. The negotiations discussed the prospects for developing interregional cooperation, as reported by the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers.
During the discussions, the focus was on activating practical interaction, including the establishment of new production capacities in Kyrgyzstan to support small and medium-sized businesses. "Today, the government faces the task of implementing new production technologies, opening export-oriented enterprises, and creating new jobs for youth. We are developing a number of state programs and plan to actively utilize the experience and cooperation with China," noted Edil Baisalov.

Lin Wu expressed readiness to assist in expanding comprehensive cooperation, developing investment ties, as well as enhancing humanitarian exchanges and launching new initiatives in the industrial sector.

As a result of the meeting, the parties outlined steps to strengthen interregional interaction and agreed to continue joint work on implementing the agreements reached.

During the visit, the Kyrgyz delegation became acquainted with the operations of several leading machine-building enterprises in the province.
