Recent negotiations held in Jinan brought together the Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Edil Baisalov and the Secretary of the Provincial Committee of the CPC of Shandong, Lin Wu.
During the meeting, the parties confirmed the high level of strategic partnership between the two states. The discussion focused on the development of interregional cooperation and the importance of strengthening ties between the regions of Kyrgyzstan and Shandong.
Edil Baisalov raised issues regarding the need to activate practical cooperation, including the creation of new production capacities in Kyrgyzstan, which will support small and medium-sized businesses.
“Kyrgyzstan, having achieved high rates of socio-economic development over the past five years, is moving to a new level. Our country aims for the mass implementation of modern technologies, the creation of industrial facilities focused on export, and the provision of jobs for youth. The government is developing several new state programs and intends to actively utilize the experience and cooperation with China,” noted Edil Baisalov.
Lin Wu, the CPC Secretary, confirmed his side's readiness to assist in expanding investment cooperation, launching initiatives in the industry, and enhancing humanitarian exchanges.
As a result of the meeting, steps were identified for further strengthening of interaction, and the parties agreed to continue the joint implementation of the agreements reached. In addition, the Kyrgyz delegation became acquainted with the work of leading machine engineering enterprises in the province.
