A meeting took place in Jinan between the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Edil Baisalov, and the Secretary of the Party Committee of the CPC in Shandong Province, Lin Wu, as reported by the government press service.
During the negotiations, the parties confirmed the high level of strategic partnership between Kyrgyzstan and China and discussed the prospects for interregional cooperation. Special attention was paid to the importance of strengthening ties between the regions of Kyrgyzstan and Shandong Province.
Edil Baisalov raised issues regarding the need to activate practical cooperation, in particular, the establishment of new production capacities in Kyrgyzstan to support small and medium-sized businesses.
“Over the past five years, thanks to the high pace of socio-economic development under the leadership of President Sadyr Japarov, Kyrgyzstan is entering a new phase. The country's leadership aims for the mass implementation of modern production technologies, the creation of export-oriented enterprises, and new jobs for the youth. In this regard, the government is developing several new programs and intends to actively cooperate with China,” noted Edil Baisalov.
Lin Wu, Secretary of the CPC Committee of Shandong Province, expressed readiness to assist in expanding comprehensive cooperation, developing investment ties, and implementing new initiatives in the industry, as well as activating humanitarian exchanges.
As a result of the meeting, steps were defined for further strengthening interregional interaction, and the parties agreed to continue joint work on the implementation of the agreements reached.
During the visit, the delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic got acquainted with the operations of leading machine engineering enterprises in the province.
