
According to Masaliev, such a review is necessary to restore citizens' trust and justice. He noted that the current state of affairs requires radical changes.
The politician also advocated for reducing the functions of the GKNB, focusing them on core tasks. The issue of transferring anti-corruption powers, whether through the creation of a new body or strengthening the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Prosecutor's Office, remains within the President's competence.
"The leadership of the GKNB has been completely renewed, and some employees are under arrest. Deputy Prime Minister Baisalov pointed out the increase in violations of the law and the growing discontent among the population," he noted.
Masaliev's main initiative was to propose the creation of an interdepartmental commission by presidential decree, which would investigate high-profile criminal cases from recent years.
"It is important to review all high-profile criminal cases from the past five years. I believe the president should create an interdepartmental commission to examine these cases," Ishak Masaliev stated.
He acknowledged that the results of such reviews could be unexpected, but emphasized that this step is necessary for the future of the country:
"The outcomes may be unpredictable, but this is essential for both our people and the president."
