Former deputy expressed support for presidential initiatives
Iskhak Masaliev, who previously held the position of deputy in the Jogorku Kenesh, has proposed the review of high-profile cases handled by the GKNB in recent years. He announced this through his social media.
According to Masaliev, recent changes in the structure of power, including personnel reshuffles in the GKNB, have a positive effect. This is especially true regarding the strengthening of powers in this agency.
The president is to determine which law enforcement agency will become the main one in the fight against corruption.
In order to restore law and order and increase citizens' trust, the politician suggested conducting a re-examination of high-profile criminal cases that were handled by the GKNB over the past five years.
“The results may be unexpected, but this step is necessary for both the people and the president,” noted Masaliev.
