Marlen Mamataliyev, a deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh, commented on the recent events related to the resignation of the head of the State Committee for National Security, Kamchybek Tashiev, and the possible change of the parliament speaker, Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu.
According to him, the work of the Jogorku Kenesh continues in a regular mode, and all important decisions should be made collectively.
“Currently, standard issues are on the agenda. We continue to work at our usual pace. The question of changing the speaker should be resolved jointly,” Mamataliyev noted in response to a question about the possible resignation of the parliament leader.
Regarding Tashiev's dismissal, the deputy indicated that this decision was made by President Sadyr Japarov.
“Tashiev himself has already commented on his resignation. For many, it was unexpected, as there were no obvious signs of this. However, every public servant is well aware of the hierarchy. Just as a soldier obeys a general, public servants act according to established rules. We continue to work in this format,” he emphasized.
