The press service of the president announced the appointment of Mukhtar Sherbaev as the akim of the At-Bashi district in the Naryn region.
It is worth noting that the day before, the head of the State National Security Committee, Kamchybek Tashiev, held a meeting with medical workers in the region. During the conversation, he addressed the representative Nurbek Satarov, demanding an explanation for the delay in appointing a new akim, expressing concern that the district had been left without proper leadership.
According to information from the regional administration, the former akim Emilbek Abdykalykov left his position on January 21 to take another job. Since then, At-Bashi has been without its leader.
Previously, Mukhtar Sherbaev served as the first deputy akim of the Ala-Buka district in the Jalal-Abad region.
