Vladimir Putin has been invited to join the "Peace Council" regarding the situation in Gaza

The press secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov, reported that Vladimir Putin has received an official invitation to join the "Council of Peace," which deals with issues related to the Gaza sector. Currently, the Kremlin is considering this proposal and is counting on further discussions with the American side to clarify the details, as RBC reports.

The "Council of Peace" was established just two days ago at the initiative of Donald Trump. Its members include well-known figures such as former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and former UN Special Coordinator Nikolai Mladenov.

According to a statement from Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto, the country has also accepted an invitation from the U.S. to join the "Council of Peace." Interestingly, one of the first to receive a similar invitation was the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
