Daiyrbek Orunbekov responded to the deputies regarding the Botanical Garden and the bill on state awards

Orunbekov noted in his response on social media that the president had previously urged deputies to avoid "demagoguery and populism" in their statements.

Deputy Bekeshev expressed his protest against the construction of mini-football fields in the Botanical Garden, claiming that this area should be used for recreation and walks, and that there are already enough football fields in the city.

In response, Orunbekov reminded about the neglected state of the garden: trees were drying out, the irrigation system was not functioning, lighting was poor, and there were instances of crime.

He added that reconstruction is currently underway at the president's request, which includes the creation of new sidewalks, installation of lighting, installation of surveillance cameras, and the construction of an 8.5 km bike path. Three wells have also been drilled, from which water has been obtained at a depth of 270 meters, and a drip irrigation system is being implemented to restore and grow plants. Additionally, the fencing of the Botanical Garden, which covers an area of 147 hectares, has been completely updated.

According to Orunbekov, in the area where trees previously did not grow, a sports zone will be created at the request of residents to promote health, which will include a mini-football field. Young people will be able to use this field, and the proceeds will be directed towards the maintenance of the garden.

He also reported that the work is planned to be completed by summer, after which the current state of the area can be compared with the results of the reconstruction.

In response to Taliyeva's comments regarding the draft law on state awards, Orunbekov clarified that the project does not include the title "Kemenger," which the deputy mentioned in her criticism. He noted that the document was presented to the Jogorku Kenesh on December 17, 2025, and urged Taliyeva to familiarize herself more carefully with its text.

Furthermore, Orunbekov pointed out that issues regarding the unification of titles, such as "People's Poet" and "People's Writer," can be considered and discussed during parliamentary discussions.
