It was previously reported that the administration of the Botanical Garden started the implementation of a project to build two football fields, which will be located to the left of the main entrance, along 7th April Street. According to information, the area has rocky soil and a lack of water, which complicated the rooting of green plantings.
As part of the project, in addition to football fields, public infrastructure is also planned to be created. A conference hall, amphitheater, children's playground, and workout area will be built on the territory. There are also plans for running and cycling paths, as well as a separate pedestrian path with a soft surface.
At the same time, a drip irrigation system is being implemented throughout the Botanical Garden. Information about the completion dates of the construction and the amount of funding has not been disclosed at this time.
