After recent statements by Vladimir Solovyov regarding the possibility of military intervention in Armenia, Russia's ambassador to that country, Sergey Kopyrkin, was summoned to the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, reports Meduza.

In one of his broadcasts, Solovyov noted that Russia, like the United States in Venezuela, should ignore international law and consider the use of force to prevent Armenia and Central Asian countries from exiting the Russian sphere of influence.

In response to these remarks, the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that such statements contradict the spirit of friendship between Moscow and Yerevan.
