The deputy demands to strengthen control over the sale of recalled "Nestlé" mixtures.
She emphasized that despite the official recall, the products continued to be available for sale, which raises serious concerns. "Despite the recalled goods, they are still available in some stores and pharmacies," noted Gulnara Baatyrova.
As previously reported, the Department of Disease Prevention and State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance received information from Forester LLC — the official distributor of "Nestlé" products — about the need to recall certain items. This concerns dry instant milk, fermented milk, and lactose-free formulas under the brands NAN 1 OPTIPRO, NAN OPTIPRO 2, NAN EXPERTPRO, NAN 2 Optipro, PRENAN, NAN LACTOSE FREE, produced with specific production dates.
The recall was initiated as a precaution due to the possible presence of the toxin cereulide in the raw materials containing arachidonic acid.
