According to the ministry's press service, this meeting was a continuation of the online event that took place on January 27, involving the Austrian Agency for Economic Cooperation and Development, as well as a number of partner organizations and educational institutions from Austria.
During the discussion, the parties considered the initiative to create a tourism school in the Ak-Suu district of the Issyk-Kul region. The Kyrgyz side proposed to provide financial and methodological support for the construction and development of this educational institution, as well as for the training of specialists in mountain tourism.
Mattiaschitz expressed his readiness for further negotiations, supported the proposed initiative, and stated that funding issues would be discussed with public and private institutions in Austria.
Kendirbaeva emphasized that the implementation of such projects creates new opportunities for the development of tourism education and strengthening international cooperation.
