Among the victims is a 2-year-old child
A major traffic accident occurred in the Issyk-Kul region, as reported by the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate.
Preliminary information indicates that the incident took place on March 27 around 15:00 on the Balykchy – Ananyevo – Karakol road. The driver of a "Mercedes-Benz E420," traveling from west to east, swerved into the oncoming lane while trying to avoid a collision with a "Volkswagen Passat" that had come from the left side, where he collided with a "Renault Samsung SM6."
Unfortunately, as a result of the impact, both drivers of the "Mercedes-Benz E420" and "Renault Samsung SM6" died at the scene.
According to the Ministry of Health, six people died, three were hospitalized, and two received outpatient treatment. One of the injured is a 2-year-old child, who is currently at the National Center for Maternal and Child Health in Bishkek.
