According to the department, the incident occurred on March 27 at around 15:00. The driver of a "Mercedes-Benz E420," 38-year-old M.D., was traveling on the Balykchy – Ananyev – Karakol highway. At that time, another driver, M.U., born in 1979, in a "Volkswagen Passat," exited from the left side of the road while making a turn.
To avoid a collision, the driver of the "Mercedes-Benz E420" crossed the dividing barrier and entered the oncoming lane, where he collided with a "Renault Samsung SM6," driven by 35-year-old Zh.K.
As a result of the collision, both drivers, who were in the "Mercedes-Benz E420" and "Renault Samsung SM6," died at the scene. Information about other possible victims and casualties is being clarified.
This incident has been registered with the Issyk-Kul District Department of Internal Affairs. Necessary examinations have been appointed, and investigative actions are being conducted at the scene.
