The investigation began after a report made by an employee of the city department of labor, social protection, and migration, which appeared on social media.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the head of this department, known as I.R., organized the collection of funds from subordinates, which were then transferred to an electronic wallet. The investigation suggests that these funds were intended for transfer to an inspector of the Accounts Chamber.
Based on the established facts, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 337 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning abuse of official position. An investigation is currently underway.
