The sentences of life imprisonment were handed down to Dalerjon Mirzoev, Saidakram Rachabalizoda, Shamsiddin Faridun, and Muhammadsobir Faizov. All of them were found guilty of committing a terrorist act, assisting terrorist activities, and preparing to carry out terrorist acts. Each of them was also fined 990,000 rubles. They will serve their sentences in a high-security penal colony.
In addition, the court issued life sentences to another 11 accomplices of the perpetrators of the attack. Among them were Umedjon and Mustakim Soliev, Shahromjon Gadoev, Zubaidullo Ismoilov, Hussein Hamidov, Muhammad Sharipzoda, Yakubjoni Yusufzoda, Nazrimad Lutfulloi, Jumakhon Kurbonov, Khusen Medov, and Jabrail Aushev.
Four other defendants received prison terms ranging from 19 years and 11 months to 22.5 years. Among them was Alisher Kasimov, a citizen of the Russian Federation and a native of Kyrgyzstan, who provided housing for the perpetrators of the attack. He was sentenced to 22 years and 10 months of imprisonment, and his apartment in the Moscow region was confiscated.
For reference, the terrorist attack at "Krokus City Hall" occurred on March 22, 2024. On that day, terrorists entered the complex during a concert by the band "Piknik", opened fire on the audience and employees of the shopping center, and then set the concert hall on fire. As a result of the tragedy, 150 people died.
The trial also involved 15 alleged accomplices of the perpetrators. The terrorist group "Vilayat Khorasan", which is part of the "Islamic State" in Afghanistan, claimed responsibility for the attack.
