The incident occurred on March 11, 2026, at around 12:20 PM. The duty officer of the Jayil District Police Department received a call from a citizen, U.V., who reported the death of her husband, P.A., in one of the houses on Kosmonavtov Street in Kara-Balta.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the couple had been drinking alcoholic beverages on the night of March 11. A conflict arose between them during the party.
According to the investigation's version, during the quarrel, the man began to insult his wife and exert psychological pressure on her. In anger, the woman grabbed a knife from the kitchen and, while her husband was sitting on the couch, inflicted a fatal wound to his neck. After that, she moved the body onto the carpet.
After the incident, the woman packed her belongings in preparation for a possible arrest and went to bed. In the morning, she moved the body to the hallway and called service 102 to report what had happened.
A knife was seized from the scene of the incident, and the body of the deceased was sent to the morgue for further examinations. Forensic medical examinations have been scheduled.
The detained woman, born in 1968, has been placed in a temporary detention facility. The investigation is ongoing.
