According to information provided by the duty unit of the Jayil District Internal Affairs Department, citizen U.V. confessed to the death of her husband P.A. when she called the police from Kosmonavtov Street.
The investigative team that arrived at the scene established that that night, around midnight, the woman, born in 1968, was at home with her husband, who was 52 years old. During the consumption of alcoholic beverages, a conflict arose between them, during which the husband began to insult her and exert moral pressure.
Tired after two days of work, U.V. wanted to rest a bit, but her husband's insults caused her intense rage. As a result, she took a knife from the kitchen and slit his throat. The man died instantly from the injuries sustained.
After the incident, the woman packed her belongings, preparing for possible detention, and went to bed. In the morning, realizing what had happened, she moved the body to the hallway and reported the incident to emergency services at 102.
A knife was seized at the scene, and the body of the deceased was sent to the morgue. The suspect was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility; the investigation is currently ongoing.
