On March 11, 2026, at 12:20 PM, a call was received at the duty station of the Jayil District Department of Internal Affairs from a citizen, U.V., who reported that her husband, P.A., had been killed. The incident occurred in the city of Kara-Balta, on Kosmonavtov Street.
The fact of the crime was recorded, and an investigative operational group was promptly dispatched to the scene, as reported by the Main Internal Affairs Department of the Chui Region.
According to preliminary data, on the night of March 11, 2026, around 12:00 AM, U.V., born in 1968, and her husband P.A., born in 1971, were at home consuming alcohol. During this, they had a quarrel, during which the husband began to insult his wife and exert moral pressure on her.
U.V. was in the living room and wanted to rest after two workdays, but the insults from her husband caused her intense anger. In a fit of emotion, she took a knife from the kitchen and slit the throat of her husband, who was sitting on the couch. After that, she moved his body onto the carpet. P.A. died at the scene from the injuries sustained.
After the incident, U.V. gathered her belongings in preparation for a possible detention and went to bed. In the morning, she woke up, dragged the body into the hallway, and reported what had happened to service 102.
During the investigation, a knife was seized from the scene, and P.A.'s body was sent to the morgue for examination.
Citizen U.V. was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
