The investigation claims that in 2024, Saipidinov, together with several officials from the Savai Ayil Okmotu and the State Agency for Land Resources, Cadastre, Geodesy, and Cartography, as well as other private individuals, committed criminal actions with the aim of obtaining material benefits.

It is worth noting that Munarbek Saipidinov was detained in Russia and extradited to Kyrgyzstan on August 7, 2025. The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that his arrest was related to the illegal transfer of state land plots in the Kara-Suu District into private hands. In connection with this case, he was charged under Article 336 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic (corruption), and the court decided to keep him in custody.

Saipidinov served as the head of the Savai Ayil Okmotu in the Kara-Suu District from 2016 to 2020.
