A group selling psychotropic substances has been detained in Bishkek
Special measures took place on February 26, 2026, in Bishkek. As a result of searches conducted in nightclubs and entertainment establishments, three individuals were arrested: V.A.S. (born in 1998), Z.Yu.G. (born in 1999), and B.K.K. (born in 1975). A significant quantity of prohibited substances was found in the possession of the detainees.
In connection with these actions, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning the illegal production of drugs and psychotropic substances with the intent to sell them.
Judicial chemical examinations have been appointed for the seized psychotropic substances.
Currently, investigative activities are ongoing to identify other members of this criminal group.
