Members of the Organized Crime Group Detained for Trafficking Afghan-Origin Drugs
According to police information, on January 17, during operational activities, a search was conducted of a vehicle belonging to citizen A.A.K., born in 1988, which resulted in the discovery of the narcotic substance hashish (charas) of Afghan production.
Subsequently, two men were detained: T.J.J., born in 1992, also known as Takalak, who is a member of the criminal group led by Kamchy Kolbaev, and T.I.S., born in 1989. During a personal search, opium was found in the pocket of T.I.S.'s jacket.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning the illegal production and trafficking of narcotics and psychotropic substances. For the seized narcotics, forensic chemical examinations have been appointed.
It should be noted that T.I.S. is a key organizer of this drug group and has previously been convicted of serious crimes, including murder, kidnapping, participation in mass riots, and concealing crimes. According to information contained in the 1997 edition of the Criminal Code of Kazakhstan, he was supposed to serve his sentence in correctional facility No. 26 of the State Penitentiary Service, but managed to avoid this by creating a fictitious contract with an individual entrepreneur and obtaining a certificate from his place of work. Based on this document, he remained at large and continued his criminal activities. Investigative authorities will conduct an additional legal assessment regarding this fact.
Currently, operational activities are ongoing to identify other members of this drug criminal group.
