In Kyrgyzstan, an international channel for the supply of synthetic drugs has been shut down
The special operation conducted in January 2026 not only halted the supply channel of synthetic drugs but also led to the arrest of members of the criminal organization. During the operation, 8 kg of methamphetamine was seized, which is equivalent to over 50 thousand doses, and the market value of the drugs is approximately 53 million soms.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning the illegal production of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and their analogs for the purpose of sale. For the seized drugs, forensic chemical examinations have been appointed.
Currently, investigative actions and operational measures are ongoing in cooperation with law enforcement agencies of neighboring states to identify other members of this criminal group.
