Illegal rental cases of land plots belonging to the district's forestry have been identified in Jumgal. In this regard, a criminal case has been initiated.
According to information from the prosecutor's office, the case was opened under Article 346 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning official forgery. Currently, investigative activities are ongoing.
Inspection revealed that a number of officials from the Jumgal Forestry used their official position for personal gain by conducting formal competitions for land rental from 2019 to 2024. These actions were aimed at obtaining benefits for themselves and third parties.
At the same time, fictitious protocols regarding the competitive procedures were created, which served as the basis for leasing land plots with a total area of 104.19 hectares to 49 citizens for a period of 49 years.
