In Jumgal, the prosecutor's office initiated a criminal case regarding the allocation of land plots to 49 citizens.
According to the prosecutor's office, a criminal case has been initiated against officials responsible for these offenses. From 2019 to 2024, employees of the Jumgal Forestry, acting against their official interests, developed a corrupt scheme to gain benefits for themselves and third parties.
It was revealed that the allocation of land plots managed by the forestry was carried out through fictitious competitions. Agency employees created fake protocols for the tender processes, based on which 49 citizens received plots illegally.
As a result of the inspection, the prosecutor's office of the Jumgal district initiated a criminal case under the article "Official Forgery" of the Criminal Code.
The case has been transferred to the internal affairs authorities of the Jumgal district for further investigative actions. The investigation is currently ongoing.
