Tököldöshev has been placed in pre-trial detention center No. 1, where he will remain until April 15. He has been charged under Article 336, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning corruption.
Colonel of Police Tököldöshev held the position of head of the Internal Affairs Department of Balykchy since July 7, 2025, and previously headed the Criminal Investigation Department of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek.
As reported by the "Turmush" editorial team on February 23, Tököldöshev was relieved of his position as head of the Internal Affairs Department of Balykchy by the decision of the Ministry of Internal Affairs leadership.
A video previously appeared on social media in Kyrgyzstan, featuring photographs of athletes, employees of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB), businessmen, and police officers, whom the authors of the video categorized as part of the so-called "40 choro" under the leadership of the former head of the GKNB in Bishkek, Eldar Jakypbekov. Tököldöshev was also mentioned in this list.
