The vehicle was placed in a tow lot on Manas Street for lack of a driver's license at 04:55 that same day.
While the administrative protocol was being drawn up, the driver, without permission, got behind the wheel and ran over police officers, resulting in junior sergeant A. K. ending up on the hood and being carried for about 20–30 meters, after which the driver fled the scene.
As a result of this incident, the police officer sustained injuries.
The investigative service of the Pervomaisky District Department of Internal Affairs initiated a criminal case under Article 280 "Hooliganism" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During operational activities, the suspect, born in 1995, was identified and detained, after which he was taken to the investigative service and placed in the temporary detention facility of the Bishkek City Police in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The investigation is ongoing.
The department also reminded citizens of the importance of complying with the legal requirements of law enforcement officers and showing respect to them.
