According to police officials, on January 19, a written statement was received at the Internal Affairs Department of the Oktobrskiy District from B. D. He reported that certain individuals, threatening him in various ways, demanded 150,000 Russian rubles, citing a non-existent debt of his girlfriend.
The investigative service initiated a criminal case under Article 208, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic "Extortion".
As a result of operational and investigative measures, the suspect was identified as Ch. T., born in 1994. He was detained while receiving 80,000 soms, which he extorted from the victim.
After his capture, Ch. T. was taken to the investigative service of the Internal Affairs Department of the Oktobrskiy District and placed in the temporary detention facility of the Bishkek City Police Department in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Currently, investigative actions regarding the criminal case are ongoing.
