A suspect was detained in Bishkek who, according to law enforcement, was distributing psychotropic substances using hidden "stash" methods. During the search, more than 40 packets of drugs were seized, with a total weight of about 120 grams.
According to the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the capital, on February 2, a report was received from residents of a new building about a suspicious object found. An investigative-operational group from the Lenin District Internal Affairs Department was dispatched to the scene.
During the inspection of the fence, a packet wrapped in duct tape was found. The informant added that this item was left by an unknown person and provided footage from surveillance cameras.
Based on the collected materials, a criminal case was initiated against the suspect under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning the illegal production and circulation of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.
During operational activities, a citizen named A. B., born in 2004, was identified and detained.
Upon checking his mobile device, a conversation was found in the Telegram messenger with a user named "Azamat," which contained coordinates of stashes and information about the quantity of psychotropic substances. According to the detainee, he had been involved in drug distribution for the past month.
Based on his testimony, operatives seized additional packets from various locations. The expert-criminalistic service of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate confirmed that the seized substance is a psychotropic compound.
