In Bishkek, police officers detained a suspect in the illegal sale of drugs, reports the Department of Internal Affairs of the Pervomaisky District.
The incident occurred on January 31, 2026. During a patrol on Ogorodnaya Street, one of the police officers noticed the suspicious behavior of an unknown individual. Subsequent surveillance revealed that this person was engaged in drug distribution using the "stash" method within the district and the city.
In connection with this, a criminal case was initiated regarding the incident under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning the illegal production and sale of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.
As a result of operational-search activities, a 16-year-old citizen named T.B. was detained. During the arrest, he indicated the locations of the stashes and handed over 29 heat-shrinkable packages containing narcotic substances. The detainee was placed in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation into this case is ongoing.
