The incident occurred on February 2, when a resident of the capital's district reported to the police about a find that could be a drug.
A investigative-operational group from the Lenin District Internal Affairs Department arrived at the scene. During the inspection, law enforcement officers discovered a stash located at the gate of the applicant's house. He also provided video evidence showing a stranger leaving a package.
This case was recorded in accordance with Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning the illegal production and distribution of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.
Police officers detained the suspect, a young man born in 2004 named A.B. During the inspection of his mobile phone, correspondence was found in Telegram with a certain Azamat, who was sending coordinates of drug storage locations.
The detainee stated that he had been involved in the distribution of psychotropic substances for a month and indicated the locations of the stashes. In total, more than 40 packages were found.
The results of the examination confirmed that the seized substances are psychotropic compounds, with a total weight of about 120 grams.
The suspect has been placed in a temporary detention facility, and the investigation is currently ongoing.
