The investigation suggests that in 2022-2023, when Sydygaliev headed the Center for State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance in Transport, he "organized the systematic collection of funds from subordinate employees" for personal enrichment.
Currently, the deputy minister is being held in the GKNB detention center.
As part of the investigation, the names of other individuals involved in offenses in the healthcare sector are also being determined.
- The GKNB emphasizes that the fight against corruption remains a key focus of the Committee's work. All those guilty, regardless of their position or social status, will be held accountable in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
