
The search continued from February 12
The body of the shepherd who became a victim of a snow avalanche in the Suusamyr Valley was found by the Ministry of Emergency Situations rescuers.
According to the agency, the search operations were completed on February 18, when the body of a 59-year-old man named D.A. was retrieved from under the snow.
A total of about 70 people were involved in the search efforts.
It is worth noting that on February 12, an avalanche occurred in the area of the Boroonduu pasture, located in the village of Kyzyl-Oy in the Suusamyr rural district of the Chui region, which covered the shepherd, as well as 50 sheep and one horse.
Rescue operations have been conducted continuously since then.
