The incident occurred on December 13, 2025, when a citizen, T.A., contacted the police for assistance regarding two women she was only slightly acquainted with — Ch. and N.

The applicant reported that in one of the shopping centers, the two women deceived her into receiving jewelry worth 36 million soms under the pretext of selling it. After that, they resold the items to a pawn shop at significantly reduced prices, failing to fulfill their obligation to return the money within the stipulated time and disappearing. The Internal Affairs Department of the Sverdlovsk District of Bishkek has initiated a criminal case regarding the fraud.
As a result of operational-search activities, the suspects were detained: Sh.Ch., born in 1985, and S.N., born in 1988. Both have been placed in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Department. The investigation is ongoing.
