According to information provided by the press service of the Internal Affairs Directorate, a 40-year-old resident of the village of Buzhum, located in the Suu-Bashy ayil district, has repeatedly subjected his wife to violence. His name is T.A.
In 2025, he used physical force against his wife three times, as a result of which she was forced to obtain a protection order. In 2026, after another incident, the suspect was detained by law enforcement authorities.
In connection with the aforementioned actions, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 138 of the Criminal Code, concerning "Torture." At present, the suspect has been placed in a temporary detention facility.
Investigative actions in this case are ongoing.
