According to the press service of the Internal Affairs Department of the Osh region, on December 5, 2025, a woman named O.A., born in 1978, reported to the Uzgen District Internal Affairs Department. She stated that her husband K.A., under the influence of alcohol, had a scandal and began to beat her.
This information was registered, and a preliminary investigation was initiated.
During the investigation, it was revealed that K.A. had previously also repeatedly used violence against his wife. Based on the collected evidence, a criminal case was initiated under Article 138 of the Criminal Code, concerning torture.
As a result of operational and investigative measures, on January 24, 2026, K.A., born in 1974, was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
