According to emergency services, on February 12 at 12:00, an avalanche descended on the pasture Boronduu, located in the upper reaches of the village of Kyzyl-Oy in the Suusamyr rural district. A local resident, D.A., born in 1967, was trapped under the snow. Also under the rubble are 50 sheep and one horse.
A report of the incident was received by the emergency situations department of the Jayil district from the head of the village of Kyzyl-Oy. Forces from the Ministry of Emergency Situations were mobilized to organize rescue operations.
Today at 06:00, 5 rescuers from the Jumgal district arrived at the scene. A total of 24 employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations are participating in the search operations.
