In the Boroondoo pasture, located in the Suusamyr rural district of the Jayil region in Chui Province, a snow avalanche struck a shepherd, born in 1967, named D.A., along with his 50 sheep and a horse.
The information about the incident was provided by the village elder of Kyzyl-Oy, who notified the head of the Jayil district department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
According to the instruction of Minister Boobek Azhikeev, as of 03:00 on February 13, 24 rescuers from various territorial administrations and departments of the ministry were involved in the search operations.
