In Bishkek, a young woman was detained on charges of extorting 5 million soms, as reported by the Internal Affairs Department of the Oktobrskiy district.
A man named M.A. approached law enforcement, stating that since January of this year, a girl named A. had been extorting the specified amount of money from him. The complainant noted that the suspect threatened him with violence, deprivation of liberty, and used other forms of psychological pressure.
Based on this information, a criminal case was initiated under Article 208 of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan.
During operational-search activities and investigative actions, police officers were able to identify the suspect. She turned out to be a citizen K.A., born in 2007. She was detained while attempting to receive a sum of 300,000 soms.
At present, the girl is in the temporary detention facility of the capital's Internal Affairs Department.
