In Chui Region, driving schools issued certificates without attending classes. Directors detained.
According to the investigation, the directors of driving schools illegally received amounts ranging from 40,000 to 120,000 soms from citizens located outside Kyrgyzstan. They issued fictitious documents confirming the completion of driver training programs without the actual presence of these citizens.
After receiving the funds, they registered individuals on the state portal and issued certificates of course completion without conducting any theoretical or practical training. This allowed them to take exams for obtaining driver's licenses.
During the investigation, it was established that through one of the intermediaries, 244 students were enrolled in the driving schools, generating illegal income for the organizers amounting to 2,760,850 soms.
A case was initiated under Article 379 ("Document Forgery") of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan. As a result, B.T. (director of the driving school "J.A."), M.A. (director of the driving school "J.J.A."), and intermediary I.T. were detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
During searches, 200 driver registration logs, 160 course completion certificates, 264 other documents, 8 electronic data storage devices, and a hunting rifle with 40 cartridges were seized. All these items have been recognized as physical evidence in the criminal case.
In addition, the police uncovered a channel involved in the production of counterfeit vehicle registration certificates and transit license plates imported from various countries.
