According to information from the GKNB, in collaboration with the Main Department of Internal Affairs (GUVD) of the GSIN and the Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD), it was established that officials from the GSIN and the Internal Affairs Department of the Pervomaisky District of Bishkek received money for their promises to resolve the issue of pardoning one of the convicts.
The investigation revealed that the employees, acting in collusion, received money from the convict, guaranteeing him assistance in obtaining a pardon decree.
According to the established facts, an employee of the IU-16 GSIN, Zh.D., and a worker from the Internal Affairs Department of the Pervomaisky District, T.N., gained the trust of the convict from IU-1 GSIN and, from December 2024 to April 2025, embezzled a significant amount of funds. However, later, the convict was denied a pardon.
In connection with the above, the Main Investigative Department of the GKNB opened a criminal case under Article 209, Part 4, Clause 4 (Fraud) of the Criminal Code. The detainees were placed in the temporary detention facility of the GKNB.
