The investigation suggests that S.K.O., using his official position, pressured convicted individuals who were sentenced to probation or fines, demanding $2000. Otherwise, he threatened to file an appeal against the court sentence with the aim of changing the punishment to imprisonment.

GKNB employees, together with the security department of the General Prosecutor's Office, detained the deputy prosecutor on February 1, when he received part of the bribe amounting to 140,000 soms.
The suspect has been placed in the temporary detention facility of the GKNB. During the investigation, other possible accomplices of the crime are being identified.
