According to the agency, the following sections of roads pose particular danger:
- On the Bishkek — Osh highway, between the 198th and 255th kilometers (Ala-Bel, Chychkan);
- On the Karakol — Enilchek route, from the 45th to the 90th kilometer (Chon-Ashuu);
- On the Ala-Buka — Kanysh-Kiya section, from the 65th to the 101st kilometer (Chapchyma);
- On the road from Krasnaya Gorka to Ak-Tash, from the 0th to the 3rd kilometer.
As a result, slippery roads are expected, with possible formation of ice, and movement will be restricted in some areas. Rescue services strongly recommend that drivers maintain a distance of at least 500 meters between vehicles and exercise caution in mountainous areas.
The MES advises against traveling to the mountains in case of worsening weather conditions unless it is absolutely necessary.
