According to information from the Hydrometeorological Service, particularly dangerous areas are located on the following roads:
- the Bishkek – Osh highway: kilometers 121–138 (Too-Ashuu), 198–255 (Ala-Bel), as well as the Chychkan section;
- the Ala-Buka – Kanysh-Kyya highway: kilometers 68–74, 86–101 (Chapchyma);
- the section from Krasnaya Gorka to Ak-Tash: kilometers 0–3;
- the Myrzake – Kara-Kuldja – Alaykuu highway: kilometers 65–110;
- the Karakol – Enilchek highway: kilometers 45–90 (Chon-Ashuu);
- the Balakchi – Kazarman – Jalal-Abad highway: kilometers 326–349 (Kok-Art).
The Ministry of Emergency Situations also emphasizes that there may be slippery sections on the roads, and ice may form in places, significantly reducing visibility.
Drivers are strongly advised to maintain a distance of at least 500 meters, avoid overtaking, and refrain from traveling on mountain roads if possible.
