In her message, Asel mentions systematic violence from the parliamentarian, which, according to her, began after his election in early 2022.
She also claims that as a result of being beaten in the summer of 2022, she required hospitalization, and although she filed a report with the police, law enforcement agencies, according to her, took no action to investigate her condition.
Asel admitted that over time she decided to forgive her husband, being dependent on him; however, neither his drinking, infidelity, nor violence ceased, which led her to the decision to divorce.
She also posted photographs showing bruises on her body.
In her latest appeal to law enforcement, which occurred on April 6, 2024, the woman described an incident of brutal beating in front of their three children. A forensic examination confirmed the presence of bruises and bald patches from pulled hair.
She also emphasized that she seeks for Eldar Suimanov to stop the harassment, psychological pressure on their children, and threats of taking the children away.
So far, the deputy has not provided any comments on this case, and the capital's police department has stated that it intends to make a statement later.
