The Internal Affairs Department of the Chui region reported the initiation of a criminal case under the article "Murder" in connection with the incident that occurred on the outskirts of the village of Spartak.
According to police representatives, this measure will allow for a deeper and more thorough investigation.
On January 20, a burned Volkswagen Golf-3 station wagon of silver color was found in this area. Inside the car were the bodies of a young man and a schoolgirl. According to preliminary data, the man purchased this car on January 11, and on January 13, he contacted an electrician to fix a problem with the left headlight. The specialist pointed out the poor condition of the vehicle, noting the presence of exposed wires, the smell of gasoline, and smoke in the cabin, which indicated a high danger in using the car.
Nevertheless, the Internal Affairs Department urges citizens not to spread false information and to rely only on official sources.
