The necessary documents were forged
A corruption scheme related to the illegal distribution of land has been uncovered by the GKNB employees in the Talas region. Information about this came from the committee.
The investigation established that 43 individuals received land plots totaling 10 hectares and 75 ares in the Kara-Buurin rural administration of the Aitmatov district due to the forgery of official documents.
According to law enforcement, a total of 56 plots were illegally allocated in a similar manner.
A specialist from the Aitmatov branch of the State Agency for Land Resources, Cadastre, Geodesy, and Cartography, known as E.A.T., attempted to bribe an official with 100,000 soms to stop the inspection and avoid responsibility.
On January 20, 2026, E.A.T. was detained during the transfer of the bribe to a GKNB employee, which served as the basis for initiating a criminal case.
At the moment, the suspect has been placed in a temporary detention facility. Investigative actions are underway to determine his involvement in the crime and to identify other officials involved in these illegal activities.
